Shipping Policy
Effective May 2026 · minose.studio
MINOSE.STUDIO coordinates domestic and international shipping for luxury furniture, bespoke interiors, hospitality projects, and large-scale procurement requirements. Our logistics framework is designed to handle the complexity of high-value, often oversized, and internationally sourced goods with appropriate care and diligence at every stage of the delivery process.
Shipping and Logistics Overview
Shipping operations may involve multiple logistics partners, freight providers, customs agents, warehouses, and third-party transportation companies depending on the destination, product type, project structure, and applicable regulatory requirements. MINOSE.STUDIO acts as coordinator and Client liaison throughout the logistics process and shall communicate key milestones from production readiness through to final delivery confirmation.
Estimated Delivery Timelines
All production schedules, dispatch estimates, and delivery timelines communicated by MINOSE.STUDIO are approximate and subject to operational dependency. Lead times for custom-manufactured or internationally sourced products typically range from eight to twenty-four weeks depending on production complexity, origin country, shipping route, and destination logistics capacity. Timelines provided at the quotation stage are indicative only and may be revised following Order Confirmation based on supplier and logistics scheduling at the time of production commencement.
International Shipments and Customs
International shipments may be subject to import duties, customs clearance procedures, port inspections, and applicable taxes or levies at the destination country. Unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of Order Confirmation, all import duties, customs charges, destination-country taxes, and associated handling fees shall remain the responsibility of the Client.
MINOSE.STUDIO will provide commercially reasonable documentation to support customs clearance processes but cannot guarantee customs clearance timelines, which remain subject to the discretion and scheduling of the destination country's customs authority. Where relevant, shipment terms shall be governed by the Incoterms specification stated in the confirmed quotation. In the absence of a specified Incoterm, the default shipping arrangement shall be Ex Works (EXW) from the point of dispatch.
Force Majeure
MINOSE.STUDIO shall not be liable for delays, losses, damage, or operational disruptions arising from natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, war, geopolitical instability, civil unrest, pandemics, industrial action, labour disputes, customs intervention, port congestion, transportation restrictions, governmental actions, regulatory changes, or any other circumstances that are beyond reasonable operational control.
In such circumstances, MINOSE.STUDIO shall notify the Client in writing as soon as reasonably practicable and shall provide revised estimates where it is possible to do so. Neither party shall be held in breach of any obligation for delays directly attributable to force majeure events.
Third-Party Logistics
Certain operational activities in the delivery process may be executed by independent logistics providers, freight operators, customs agencies, or transportation vendors. While MINOSE.STUDIO coordinates shipping arrangements and acts as the Client's primary point of contact, it shall not be directly responsible for operational failures, delays, or damage caused by third-party service providers that are beyond MINOSE.STUDIO's commercially reasonable control.
Where Goods are damaged in transit by a third-party logistics provider, MINOSE.STUDIO shall assist the Client in pursuing an appropriate claim against the relevant service provider and shall provide all available documentation to support that process.
Site and Delivery Conditions
The Client is responsible for ensuring adequate site accessibility, appropriate floor and surface protection, labour coordination, installation readiness, entry and staircase clearance, and unloading support at the delivery location prior to the scheduled delivery date. MINOSE.STUDIO must be informed in advance of any access restrictions, special equipment requirements, building management regulations, or scheduling constraints that may affect delivery logistics.
Additional costs arising from inaccessible delivery locations, failed or aborted delivery attempts, requirement for specialist equipment not anticipated at the time of dispatch, or the need for rescheduled deliveries shall remain the responsibility of the Client.
Inspection Upon Delivery
An authorised representative of the Client must be present to inspect all shipments upon delivery. Any visible transit-related damage or product discrepancies must be documented immediately and noted in writing on the delivery documentation at the time of delivery. All such concerns must be formally reported to MINOSE.STUDIO within seven calendar days of delivery, supported by clear photographic evidence and the relevant delivery documentation.
MINOSE.STUDIO cannot accept liability for damage claims where delivery documentation has been signed by the Client or their representative without notation of any visible damage or discrepancy at the time of receipt.
Storage and Demurrage
Where confirmed Goods are ready for dispatch but delivery cannot proceed due to Client-side delays, site unavailability, or access issues not attributable to MINOSE.STUDIO, MINOSE.STUDIO reserves the right to arrange interim storage at the Client's cost. Storage charges will be communicated in writing and shall become applicable from thirty calendar days after the notified dispatch readiness date.
Demurrage charges arising from port holding, customs delays, or freight detention attributable to the Client's failure to provide required documentation or payment in a timely manner shall also remain the responsibility of the Client.
